Humble
Beginnings
March
12, 1988, Pamela hit a crisis point in her life. It was her
birthday. She lay in her bed in tears, crying to her husband
that she was getting older and life was passing her by. "I
could have been a writer!" After what seemed hours of trying
to comfort her, her husband set up a table and a computer in
the corner of their bedroom and said, "There. Write your
blank book or shut the blank up about it."

Life
In

and shown steadfast support, passed away after a long illness.
In March of 2002 she married for the second time. Bill is a
retired geophysicist who builds furniture, makes pottery, weaves
rugs, and lately has taken up proofreading long manuscripts
with lots of misspelled words. Pam declares herself the luckiest
woman alive. "Two great guys in one lifetime. I'm sure
I never deserved this."
As
a team, Pam and Bill claim six children and four grandchildren.
